April’s work on a recent new construction project included a lavish powder room—a jewel box of shimmering metallics and classic elements. Her vision for the Art Deco-inspired powder room was to interpret the era in a style suitable for this century. A thoughtful mix of old and new—a Carrara-topped modern vanity with an eighteenth century Rococo mirror—gives a nod to the past with a modern perspective.
