New Arrivals at KDR – See What’s in Store

Shop the Showroom - KDR Designer Showrooms

We thought you might enjoy a chance to shop new arrivals at KDR from the comfort of your phone, tablet or computer. Lisa Davis, Visual Merchandising Specialist at KDR Designer Showrooms,  was kind enough to take us for a quick spin around the showroom this week pointing out pieces that have just hit the floor.

UPHOLSTERY

We spotted plush velvets—be it transitional red barrel chairs or nailhead-studded arm chairs. And rich leathers from Hancock & Moore can be seen in the form of a traditional, buttery soft sofa and a fresh take on the wing back.

CASEGOODS

Their new collection of casegoods ranges from one end of the style spectrum to another. From Swaim, a sleek buffet with graphic, mirror-finish medallion pulls makes a statement in contrasting silver and black, while a new side table from Bennett Galleries speaks to lovers of painted pieces with a nod to French antiquity.

DINING ROOM

Just in time for holiday gatherings, you may want to rethink your seating arrangements. A round dining table from Councill, adjustable from 60- to 84-inches in diameter, is shown in a Sugar Cane satin finish with transitional oval back chairs. KDR has six complete dining room table and chair sets currently on display and ready to take home.

ITS ALL IN THE DETAILS

Details, as you know, make all the difference. Thoughtful finishing touches are seen throughout the showroom. Nailheads in a variety of sizes trim sofas, chairs, even a pair of stately suede-wrapped bookcases. We caught a glimpse of a window treatment in the works that will feature a graphic velvet border from Samuel & Sons. One of our personal favorites is the unique, crinolated base—a pattern of alternating square and arched shapes—found on a 50’s-inspired chair and ottoman from Ambella Home.
