A recently completed powder room by JCR Design Group boasts a bespoke wallpaper inspired by our fair city. According to Jenny Rapp of JCR, when it comes to daring, bold choices for interiors, she’s often surprised that the most conservative homeowners get excited about the idea of a dramatic powder room, often incorporating custom vanities and spirited wallpapers.
“Perhaps it’s their petite size that makes a daring or high-impact design seem like less of a risk; If it’s too much, well, we just close the door.”
After an exhaustive search for a perfect statement-making powder room paper for clients building their forever home, JCR Design Group opted for a bespoke creation. Pulling from the colors in the rest of house, and using their beloved hometown of St. Louis as inspiration, they designed a beautiful, rich navy-colored wallpaper adorned with six treasured Saint Louis landmarks: The Arch, the Jewel Box, the Old Courthouse, the Muny Gazebo, scenes from Forest Park, and the statue of Louis IX .
Coupled with a mirrored vanity piece, the dramatic design not only enhances the powder room space, but reflects what is truly important to the clients; family and home. It is a one-of-a-kind statement, turned into a beautiful work of art. These homeowners take pride in living in the city of Saint Louis and pride in their sensational custom wallpaper!
