Summer travels took the team at Working Spaces north to Chicago for NeoCon, the annual industry expo and conference for commercial interiors. The quick trip allowed for a day of inspiring introductions and an evening of rooftop cocktails with industry friends.

The Kimball Office showroom proved a source of fresh, innovative solutions that, in their own words, “reinforce the “co-mingling of technology and craft.”

We were struck by the use of softer tones, warm wood grains and textures. New solutions for healthcare provide comfort by way of form, fabrics and pastel palettes while the Design Hub for creative office environments combines functional storage with a hand-crafted feel.

The trip to Chicago afforded the Working Spaces’ Design and Sales Team a closer look at new designs including lounge seating, task seating, adjustable height desks and agile products that work well with adaptable designs. They returned to their offices in St. Louis, Columbia and Kansas City armed with new workplace solutions that allow for greater personalization of a space than ever.
